Don't worry, I'm still around!

Since not much has happened on our blog lately, I thought I'd fill you all in on what the hold up has been.

We have been crazy busy these last few months getting our house ready to sell and make a big move for our family back to our hometown.  We ended up selling our home after 14 days on the market (which was pretty amazing for our area) and left our precious house :(

We're currently chillin' at my in-laws until we can move into our new home.  But since my computer with all of our pics and stuff is residing in storage, you'll have to wait a little while for some new and exciting posts!

Weekend catch up and Remodelaholic Feature!

                               I was featured on Remodelaholic!

I hope you are all having an awesome Easter weekend!  Mine started out a little disheveled considering that I sent my daughter out to the bus stop yesterday morning only to realize after 20 minutes of her sitting there that there was in fact NO SCHOOL!!  I felt like a terrible person but luckily, she

We have been slowly working on finishing our lower level living space (it's really a walk-out basement but I thought I'd make it sound fancy.  It worked, right?).  This progress is really something that has spanned out a total of 6 years people!! So when I say "slowly", I really mean it.

This last year we've had the proverbial "fire under our rears" so to speak because we are...
Drum roll please!

MOVING!!

We've had our eye on moving back to our small northern MN hometown for a while and, fortunately for us, the company that my husband works for has a branch office located there.  Well, one

Evolution of a Hallway: Changing out your boring doors

Well long time no see!!  I realize that i have been a terrible blogger these past three months.  And by terrible, I mean, I haven't blogged since October.  WHAAAAT???!!

Yup.  It's true.  I like to blame the holiday season but in reality, I'm probably just lazy.  There, I said it.  I'm lazy.

We also haven't had much DIYing going on either.  In fact, the only real DIY thing we've done is installed new 6 panel doors in
